MOVIEPASS: Chloe Moretz Is Joining Denzel Washington In ‘The Equalizer’ Movie
- comingsoon: Chloë Moretz, the bad-ass Hit Girl from Kick-Ass and the upcoming remake of Carrie, has scored the co-lead in the film opposite Denzel, playing a young prostitute named Teri, a role written for a slightly older actress. Comparisons are already being made of the relationship between Washington’s Robert McCall and Moretz’s character to that of Robert De Niro and Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver. Moretz had a “chemistry read” with Washington that impressed the Oscar-winning actor.
The Equalizer is currently scheduled for release on April 11, 2014.
